Domestic Violence Among People with Disabilities 

PA Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV) provides training and technical assistance to programs and stakeholders with a focus on survivor-led and trauma-informed services to unserved and underserved survivors, oversees statewide prevention initiatives, and collaborates with allied professionals to develop and maintain community partnerships to enhance comprehensive services to these survivors. This Lunch & Learn will focus on the definition of domestic violence and review the power and control wheel and specific tactics of abuse against people with disabilities.  There will be some discussion of how this relates to session participants work and allow for some Q&A.  This webinar will be held via Zoom at NO COST and is pre-approved by CRCC. 

Learning Objectives for the Presentation

Objective #1: Define domestic violence within the context of power and control.

Objective #2: Offer examples of specific tactics of domestic violence used against people with disabilities.

Objective #3: Understand how to connect to their local domestic violence program and create a warm referral process.
